The 32 year-old missed the last two games of Liverpool's campaign (Fulham and QPR) because of the injury. He underwent surgery after being forced to play three months with the pain.
It is looking good for the midfielder ahead of the next World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine which is on 6th and 10th of September.
