The experienced 30 year-old joined the Seagulls in August but spent the last 4 months on loan at Selhurst Park. Dobbie has signed a two year contract and is Ian Holloway's first signing this summer.
The Scot has played for Holloway in the past, enjoying a loan spell with the well known manager while at Blackpool.
