After signing for Aston Villa in August, the 29 year-old has hardly made an impact as the midfielder has been loaned out to Olympiakos and Rennes. He has signed a contract to stay at the French club for 2 years.
The undisclosed transfer fee will be paid to Villa on the 1st July.
