Balotelli given three match ban

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has been given a three match ban after insulting a match official during the 2-2 draw against Fiorentina.

Being shown his 4th yellow card of the season, the Italian was going to miss one match but insulting the referee's official upgraded the ban to three matches. The 22 year-old will miss games against Napoli, Juventus and Catania.

Before the match, Balotelli was fined for smoking on a train when heading for the stadium.
