Bayern Munich 2-0 Juventus

German giants Bayern Munich produced a convincing performance against Italian side Juventus, beating them 2-0.

A deflected 35 yard thunderbolt by David Alaba put the Germans ahead. Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic squared the ball to Thomas Mueller who finished for Bayern. Substitute Arjen Robben had lots of inviting chances and ever since he came on Bayern look more of a threat.

"Despite a 2-0 loss, Juventus looked like great contenders for the second leg thanks to the atmosphere of their fans. Meanwhile Bayern controlled the first leg.
