Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme breaks hand in odd outburst

Wolves shot-stopper Carl Ikeme may miss the rest of the season with a broken hand, the keeper apparently punching the tactics wall in anger.

After the crucial 2-1 win against Bristol City, Ikeme had smashed the board with anger after heated words from manager Dean Saunders. Second-choice keeper Dorus De Virus will deputise. The 2-1 win was down to late second half goals from Sylvian Ebanks Blake and Kevin Doyle.

"Every single one of us has punched something or pushed something out of frustration but you don't expect to cause yourself injury." Wolves gaffer Dean Saunders said.
