Stoke veteran Michael Owen to retire at the end of the season!

     Stoke City and former- England international Michael Owen is to retire at the end of the season.


     The striker, 33, has played for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle and Man United before transfering to Stoke on a free. Perhaps one of the best England goals was scored by Owen in 1998 against Argentina. 40 goals in 89 internationals suggest that the veteran is one of the best English internationals ever. 

"It is an immense amount of pride to that I am announcing my intention to retire." The chester born striker stated
