SWA 4-0 SUN: Swans crush awful Black Cats

New Sunderland boss Gus Poyet suffered a 4-0 thrashing in his first match against Swansea City as the Black Cats stayed bottom of the Premier League.

Scottish international defender Phil Bardsley headed the ball into his own net perplexingly at the 56th minute after he skied a brilliant chance from the far post. Curling the ball into the top corner of the goal expertly, Jonathon De Guzman doubled the lead a few minutes after. Craig Gardener then pulled down Welsh midfielder Leon Britton and Wilfred Bony converted a penalty at the 74th minute. Chico Flores made a mazy run in the box before the Spaniard headed in a corner.
