Liverpool
have signed Paris Saint Germain’s young defender Mamadou Sakho and Sporting Lisbon centre back Tiago Ilori for a combined fee of £25m.
Highly
rated defender Sakho, 23, is valued around £15m and the fee for him is around that. He wants more first team football.
Ilori, 20, will be used to replace
Kolo Toure and Aly Cissokho who were injured in the extra time Capital One Cup
win against Notts County.
The two will join Victor Moses as signings made by Brendan Rodgers on transfer deadline day.
Sakho smiles as he is presented to the media as a Liverpool player. |
